SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, Calif. (WZTV) — A mother has surrendered her newborn twins to a fire station under the Safe Haven law. San Bernardino County Fire in California said the young mom arrived at the station on Monday, stating that she’d just given birth to twins and wanted to leave the babies at the station under safe surrender laws. Fire crews said the babies were both in good health, cleaned up and well fed. The twins were transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for further assessment.
