With an expected three- to-six months to live, 88-year-old Lloyd Petermann knew time was of the essence when he popped the question — again — to Doris, his wife of 62 years. Lloyd, a patient at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice who is dying of congestive heart failure, was sitting in his room on Sunday with his wife and two of their great-grandchildren when he suddenly asked her to marry him, explained Doris, 85.
