Lazy Days and Losing the Right Things

Washing on Monday, writing on Wednesday – I don’t makea predetermined schedule for my week, as some of my friends do.I likebeing organized; however,and crossing things off of my “to do” list, but I have really lost that ability this summer!

Losing my hope ofmeeting deadlines, the list keeps on getting longer and my guilty conscience doesn’t appear to mind. Instead I am busy with life and enjoying the unique moments that cause me to pause.

Isn’t that what summer is all about? Summer is the time for an easy, un-encumbered rhythm, a new less stressful mood.

So, we invite friends to the cabin who are vacationing in the area, and welcome out-of-town company, instead of finishing the half-done bathroom project.

When I am in town, I say “yes” to baking desserts when unexpected funerals take place at our church. I even find myself runningout to buy carry-on luggage so…
